Perfect replacement air filter for my 2008 Honda Fit. These are super easy to replace yourself, and this is a great price, so it really benefits you to change the engine filter every 6 months or so rather than have it done at the mechanic and be charged a premium for both the filter and the labor. Not sure why the actual filter paper/fabric on this one is red – typically that symbolizes a higher performing filter that may be coated with oil to help filter more particles, but the listing for this doesn't really indicate anything other than say it's high quality. I'll keep an eye on it and see how it performs compared to the traditional white filters I was using, but for now it seems to fit and appears to be well-made for the job.

FAQS

A dirty filter lets dirt and debris enter the engine. This can reduce power, hurt fuel economy, and over time cause engine wear — leading to expensive repairs.

Yes. Carefully remove loose dust and debris before installing the new filter, making sure nothing falls into the intake.

A wet or damaged filter may restrict airflow. Inspect the filter and replace it if it cannot dry completely or maintain its original shape.
