Not at all. No tools needed — just pop out the old filter and drop in the new one. Most installs take under 5 minutes. Do it yourself and save.
Yes. Carefully remove loose dust and debris before installing the new filter, making sure nothing falls into the intake.
A wet or damaged filter may restrict airflow. Inspect the filter and replace it if it cannot dry completely or maintain its original shape.
