I was on the look out to replace the fuel pump in my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 . I have 306k on my old white basic work truck and the original pump although worked I could hear an audible whine in the morning . I ordered the PHILTOP pump because I used this brand on a Camry and already knew I would get a very high quality pump at a very low price.The pump arrived on time and very well packed with very heavy bubble wrap to make sure the pump would arrive unharmed. The pump is made of very nice high quality plastic that is as thick and durable as the factory oem pump . The pump top is the exact same size of stamped steel making fitment and installation very easy . PHILTOP includes a new fuel level float and fuel pump o ring so you won't need to reuse those . Once installed the pump primed and fired up and runs smoothly.I am a mechanic by trade and I personally have installed hundreds of pumps. I have definitely used cheap pumps that feel light and do not last long . This pump was just as heavy as the OEM pump I removed at a fraction of my local GMC dealer.I have used PHILTOP before and have no issues trusting these pumps .
