Worked well. Needed to trim some of the pipe that extended past the mount flanges. Upper and lower. The lower ring/donut gasket did not fit. About 1/4" too small. Check engine light went off.

I bought this PHILTOP rear catalytic converter kit for my 2000 Corolla after the original one finally gave out. The price was a big factor—OEM replacements are extremely expensive for a car this old, so this was a much more affordable option.The good: the stainless steel construction feels solid, and once installed the car immediately ran smoother with better exhaust flow compared to the clogged factory cat. It’s marketed as a direct-fit part, and for the most part it bolted up correctly. I didn’t need to do major modifications, which saved time.That said, a few things to be aware of. The alignment of the flanges was slightly off, so I had to spend extra time adjusting and sealing to avoid leaks. Also, keep in mind this is EPA-compliant only, not CARB, so it won’t pass in California or states with stricter emissions rules. Longevity is still a question mark since many aftermarket converters don’t have the same precious metal content as OEM, so I don’t expect it to last as long.Overall, it’s a solid replacement if you’re in an EPA state and need a reasonably priced fix to get your Corolla or Prizm back on the road. Just be prepared for possible minor fitment tweaks and keep your engine in good tune so the new converter doesn’t fail prematurely.

my 2011 Hyundai Accent started getting a bit of rotten egg/sulfur smell, so I decided to replace the catalytic converter before the sensors alerted me.It was a fairly easy replacement and the exhaust smells normal now.The only downside was that the shipping box was quite damaged and had several holes from the parts not being secured well enough.
