Okay, if I were looking for a catalytic converter for my Elantra, Soul, Tucson, or Forte here in Charlotte and wanted to keep things EPA-compliant without breaking the bank, I'd come across the PHILTOP 16646. They say it's a direct fit with a durable stainless steel body and all the hardware, which sounds pretty good for the price. The catch, as of May 2025, is that there aren't a ton of specific reviews out there for this exact PHILTOP model. Some folks with similar PHILTOP parts on these cars have had good luck, maybe with minor tweaks needed for a perfect fit, while others offer less feedback. So, while it's a budget-friendly option that should legally work fine for our emissions standards here in NC, I'd go in knowing it's a bit more of an unknown in terms of long-term performance and perfect bolt-on ease compared to a more established, pricier brand.

nice packaging. fits well. the welds are pretty nice, and I have yet to find any pinholes. seems well made and arrived safely which feels rare of oe replacement exhaust. Great value considering it has a catalytic converter integrated, the included hardware is great.

It looks like it should be an exact for on a 2012 Kia Soul 2.0. It looks like a quality piece that should work fine. NI held it up and it all lines up fine, I could not get the stock cat off on jack stands and will need to get it up on a lift to replace it.

I got this because I needed to get rid of a P0420 code for the absolute lowest cost, and this fit and functioned perfectly. I would've liked to see a heat shield, but the other can be transferred or not used, it doesn't make a huge difference. All of the welds are seamless and well done, and all the cuts are very precise. The flanges are square and gave me no issues sealing up.

Item is great! Very good fit. I have a 2004 Camry 2.4L and it fits well. Looks well made. Even the gaskets are OK. 4 screws, washers and nuts are included even though for front attachment the threaded studs are already there.For the price, it is perfect. Either way it is perfect.There is an extra threaded hole very close to the front flange. I had a plug in the previously installed part, so I reused it here.Time will tell how well the catalytic converter holds up. The metal part will definitely live for a long time.

When I am buying something important I read a lot of reviews and pay attention to to details . I didn’t want to spend a fortune buying Oem so aftermarket was my only other option. This PHILTOP CC is unbelievable in quality and an exact replica of the one I removed. It feels and looks like original quality and matches up perfectly . It came with all hardware and even a how to guide. For the price I am very pleased!
