Really amped to find a high-flow Catalytic Converter for my out-of-production 20-year-old Nissan SUV. Getting harder to find parts for the SUV unless sourcing from salvage yards. This part is "heavy" stainless steel and looks high quality - see photos. Comes with installation hardware and an installation booklet (dual language in English and Spanish). Is approved in the state I live in. Should pass the state vehicle inspection after installed!

The OEM catalytic converter on my 1999 Cherokee had disintegrated internally and completely clogged the exhaust. This replacement kit was a direct bolt-in and made it really easy to get the Jeep back on the road. Everything lined up the way it should and install went smoothly. This was also a much more afforable option as an exhaust shop quoted me over a thousand dollars to replace it.The oxygen sensor reads happy now and there is no more check engine light for “catalyst below threshold.” Exhaust flow feels much better and the engine runs stronger without the restriction. Good quality replacement and EPA compliant which gave me peace of mind. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend for anyone with an older Jeep that needs a new cat.

I haven't had a chance to install this catalytic converter yet, but so far I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a perfect fit for my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the product listing was really clear about the years and models it's compatible with. I bought this catalytic converter for my ’98 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has been a solid purchase. While the proof will ultimately be in the emissions test results, right off the bat this looks very promising. Every weld on this converter is well made, and the metal itself is heavy gauge. Even the heat shield feels very sturdy - nothing flexing or rattling when you pick it up. The catalyst itself is indeed on a ceramic substrate. The inlet side measures 2.5" on the inside diameter, while the outlet side (with the O2 bung) measures 2.25" on the outside diameter.
