Cheap alternative to the local parts house.Working as a mechanic I've replace many converters over the years and have learned that price typically equals useful life. If you just need a couple more years use out of your car go with a cheap cat to get you through your emission test, plan on keeping it for a long time, I would suggest going with o.e. or a premium replacement part.

Ordered this Catalytic Converter Kit - Left Side Replacement - Direct Fitment for Ford F-150 - 2004-2008 4.6L Truck -for my 2006 Ford F-150. Over the past several months when starting and driving my truck, it seem just like it was smothering and had quit having the pep it had before. Even Idling kept getting rougher. Then started smelling an awful smell, similar to rotten egg smell. So I got my neighbor friend/mechanic to check it with his testing device.He advised my converter on left side was probably stopping up. So I started shopping online, searching for a new one with my part numbers. Then found this left side replacement converter that was a direct fit for my truck.After reading that it came complete w/clamp and compression fitting, ready to install, along with price, I placed my order. This was a nice find as it's well made of strong stainless steel material with thick smooth welds. It was nice that it came complete with the built in flange to flange design with the connector already attached, ready to install. This was an exact fit of my old Ford. Perfect fit on the engine side, on the muffler side you may need an adapter if your's is like mine where both pieces are flared out. Other than that it was and is a perfect fit. I fully stand behind this company and recommend purchasing from them.
