I have yet to install this catalytic converter so my review will focus mostly on what you get and the quality-it looks as it does in the photos, it feels heavy and solid, the welds look pretty uniform and strong.I love that it comes with the two gaskets and all the bolts you need for the replacement-that way if some of your bolts are rusted together and won’t come off of the old catalytic converter, you could just sawzall them off and put these new ones on.I wish I could attest to the fit and to the function, but I will come back and let you know how it’s working once I’ve had the energy to put in on my SUV. I highly recommend lightly sanding the metal underneath the old gasket on the pipes attached to your vehicle to make sure the new gasket is seated properly and makes a good seal.

Perfect fit on the engine side, on the muffler side you may need an adapter if your's is like mine where both pieces are flared out. Other than that it was and is a perfect fit. I fully stand behind this company and recommend purchasing from them.

This catalytic converter is the secondary cat that comes after the first two cats in the Acura TL. This is a similar setup to the other Honda V6's. This catalytic converter won't throw any codes (at least not in my model) because it's not attached to any O2 sensors. I just replaced mine since my old cat was starting to rust over.I had no issues installing this, it lined up directly with my exhaust. I don't necessarily consider this a "crucial" part since this cat won't throw any codes, and it's "EPA-compliant." I live in Texas so emissions aren't really a big deal here if you aren't throwing any codes.The honeycomb on the inside seems to be holding up. It's not as expensive as OEM because there aren't as many valuable metals in this cat (which is fine, that's how EPA-compliant cats are), but it functions as it should.
