Cheap alternative to the local parts house.Working as a mechanic I've replace many converters over the years and have learned that price typically equals useful life. If you just need a couple more years use out of your car go with a cheap cat to get you through your emission test, plan on keeping it for a long time, I would suggest going with o.e. or a premium replacement part.

When I am buying something important I read a lot of reviews and pay attention to to details . I didn’t want to spend a fortune buying Oem so aftermarket was my only other option. I only needed to replace Bank 2 (right side), but for the price, I got both sides. This part fit my 2010 Cadillac SRX 3.0L Performance perfectly! No mods needed. It came with multiple gaskets and bolts. It appears to have precision welds and the metal is good quality. All the flex pipe areas came wrapped in thick foam and the o2 ports had seals and caps attached. I should have maybe waited to write my review until after I had time to run the SUV for a while to see if the part holds up but if it doesn’t, I just edit this review. I saved thousands getting this part and doing the work myself. Dealers and shops up charge their parts to over 300%.

It covers multiple years.Another thing that's nice is the stainless steel body. The material is designed to help with rust.I also like that it comes with the gaskets and hardware.
