I installed this PHILTOP catalytic converter in my driveway over the weekend on my Chevy Cruze 1.8L, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I've done plenty of my own maintenance over the years, and this was one of the easier exhaust jobs I've tackled.The converter matched the factory part really well. All the mounting points lined up, the flanges fit correctly, and I didn't have to force anything or modify the pipes. The welds looked clean, and the overall construction felt solid right out of the box. It's definitely not one of those cheap replacement parts that leaves you wondering how long it'll last.After getting everything bolted up, I fired the car up and immediately noticed how much quieter it was. The exhaust leak was gone, the check engine light stayed off, and the engine idled smoother than it had in a long time. It also seemed to pull a little better during acceleration, and the exhaust smell that I'd been dealing with disappeared.Doing the job myself saved me hundreds of dollars compared to what a local shop wanted to charge. If you're comfortable turning wrenches and have a basic set of hand tools, this is a very doable weekend project. Just soak the old exhaust bolts with penetrating oil ahead of time—it'll make the job much easier.Overall, this catalytic converter fit exactly like it should, solved my emissions problem, and got my car running the way it was supposed to again. I'd definitely buy this PHILTOP converter again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a quality direct-fit replacement at a reasonable price. Five stars all the way.

When I am buying something important I read a lot of reviews and pay attention to to details . I didn’t want to spend a fortune buying Oem so aftermarket was my only other option. This PHILTOP CC is unbelievable in quality and an exact replica of the one I removed. It feels and looks like original quality and matches up perfectly . It came with all hardware and even a how to guide. For the price I am very pleased!

The media could not be loaded. Good item. Even comes with an instruction booklet. I did have to chase the threads where O2 sensor goes, but I usually have to anyways. Put some antiseize on the sensor before install. All the welds look good. I do think the heat shield may need a better tack weld. I took a few pictures of those, but it looks better than the one I purchased at the parts store. Used on a Honda Accord.
