I recently replaced the catalytic converter on my 2009 Subaru Forester with the PHILTOP Catalytic Converter, and I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with the purchase. Installation was straightforward, and I managed to do it myself without too much trouble, which is always a plus in my book.Right after the installation, I noticed a significant improvement in my car's performance. The engine felt smoother, and I didn’t hear any of those annoying exhaust noises that had developed over time. It’s also great to know it’s EPA compliant, so I can feel good about my environmental impact while driving.A few weeks in, there haven't been any issues, and my check engine light remains off, which was my main concern when making the switch. Overall, I think this is a solid choice if you're looking for a replacement catalytic converter for your Subaru. Good quality and a reasonable price—definitely worth considering if you’re in the same boat.

My 91 Cherokee is HARD to find parts for - if you have one, you know. And, then, when you do, they don't fit nearly as well as they like to pretend they will. This one does. No complaints. Easy in (difficult out - loads of rust on the old one). But, worked without issue and not too tough to install on a 91 Cherokee. Seems to be well made, certainly spec'ed to fit, and zero issue so far.

I picked up this PHILTOP catalytic converter as a replacement for my aging factory unit, and overall I’m pleased with the quality and fit. The construction feels solid, and the high-flow design is a nice touch for a replacement part. What I liked most was that it was designed specifically around the Honda and Acura 3.5L applications, rather than being a generic universal converter that requires a lot of modification. The OE reference number also made it easier to cross-check the part before ordering. The stainless-steel construction looks durable, and the welds and overall finish appear clean. It’s also nice having an EPA-compliant option for a vehicle that needs a proper emissions replacement. For anyone considering this, I would definitely recommend double-checking the exact year, engine, and application before ordering since catalytic converter fitment is very specific. For my needs, though, this has been a solid replacement option with easy installation and a good value compared with some of the much more expensive alternatives.

Great fit and solid performance for my 2012 Accord 3.5LI replaced the catalytic converter on my 2012 Honda Accord 3.5L with the PHILTOP High Flow Catalytic Converter (OE# 16643), and it was a straightforward success. It fit perfectly—bolted right up with no modifications needed, and the flanges and pipes lined up cleanly with the existing exhaust.Installation was relatively easy for a DIY job. Once installed, the check engine light stayed off, and the car runs smoother with noticeably better exhaust flow. Throttle response feels a bit sharper, and there’s less restriction compared to the old clogged unit. It’s also quieter than I expected for a high-flow design—no drone or excessive noise. It’s listed as EPA compliant and covers a wide range of Honda/Acura applications (08-16 Odyssey, 09-15 Pilot, 08-17 Accord 3.5L, 13-18 RDX, 09-14 TL, 10-15 MDX, etc.), which gave me confidence in the fitment. Build quality feels solid, welds look clean, and it seems well-made for the price. If you’re dealing with a failing cat on one of the compatible 3.5L (or 3.7L TL) Honda/Acura models, this PHILTOP unit is a reliable, direct-fit option that works as advertised. Highly recommended.
