Functionally the catalytic converter fit and fixed the P0420 code. The flanges on the exhaust were good and lined up perfectly. The only problem here is the heat shield brackets. I was unable to get them all to line up, but was able to use 1 in front and 1 on back and the other tabs now just function as anti rotation tabs. Is it perfect? No, but it works to fix the problem on my car for an affordable price.Had everything been lined up this probably this would have taken under an hour but ended up taking an extra 30-40 min to try to get the heat shield to fit. Had I not had a lift it would have been really frustrating.The quality of the converter is good. If you’ve ever had to deal with a stubborn check engine light on an older truck, you know how stressful finding a replacement cat can be. I picked this direct-fit kit up for an older first-gen Tacoma 3.4L, and overall, it’s a solid piece of hardware.The first thing I noticed right out of the box was the quality of the welds. Budget exhaust parts can be a complete roll of the dice, but the beads on this unit are clean, solid, and completely sealed. The flanges are thick enough that you won't have to worry about them warping when you torque them down to crush the gaskets.Speaking of installation, "direct-fit" actually means direct-fit here. The bolt holes lined up perfectly with the existing factory Y-pipe and muffler connections without needing a pry bar or any sketchy pipe-stretching. It comes with the required nuts and bolts, though you'll want to make sure your old factory hangers are still in good shape since you reuse those. Performance-wise, it immediately cleared the P0420 code, the exhaust tone stayed perfectly normal without any annoying raspiness, and the truck passes the sniff test just fine. It's an excellent, hassle-free alternative to dropping a small fortune on an OEM replacement.

Looks like a good quality item except for one important product detail. It has a pre-cat O2 sensor mount where my ‘01 CRV already has a pre-cat O2 on the exhaust pipe. This does not show in any photos. Rather than plug it, I’m just returning it. My second choice specifically says “single” O2 (post-cat, hopefully) mount.

The catalytic converter from Philtop was an exact fit for my old Honda pilot. Went on easily with only a few modifications, which is expected when you buy aftermarket. After installing and clearing the code ran smoothly and quiet. Great price.

Gets the job done, perfect if you need a budget friendly fix up, decent value (keep in mind though that you get what you pay for), has held up decently so far, was able to have it put in without any issues, and all in all I recommend it.My only con and reason for giving it a 4 out of 5 instead of a 5 out of 5 is because no where on or in the packaging do they tell you what it’s for (which could be a huge problem if you don’t use it right away or like me you order two different ones for different models at the same time they arrive at the same time and they look exactly the same) so doing that would prevent any possible confusion.

This cat is a great budget option. The quality is decent; the stainless steel looks good, though maybe not as thick as the OEM part I pulled off. The length was perfect, which is a major win. The Fit was 95% there. The biggest snag was the alignment. I had to use a bit of muscle to compress the flex pipe area slightly to get the bolts into the upper manifold flange. Not a huge deal, but not a drop-in. Performance is great, no codes, and the car runs strong. Given the price difference from the dealership, the value is excellent, even with the small installation fight.
