This seems to be a decent quality converter with a simple ceramic element. It fits as it should and doesn't change the way the vehicle sounds. It functions well for now and was relatively easy to install once the old converter was out. That is the hard part. I would paint this item for corrosion resistance, the steel has a bright finish that will probably rust quickly.
