This filter was heavier, caged inside and outside the filter, and a perfect replacement for the STP branded filter it replaced. The best part only 2/3 the cost of the STP filter purchased at a major auto parts retailer. Both old and new filters produced in the same country. Not much more to add. I may grab another one of these to have on the shelf. Familiar with changing out this filter, it was a 10 minute job but most of that time was spent hauling out the shop vac and vacuuming out the filter box.
