After moving a couple engine parts around, mine dropped right in. It looks like the one that came out, only cleaner. The manufacturing may be a bit neater on the newer filter. Not noticing a difference in the vehicle's operation, but these are for maintenance more than performance, and mine are changed regularly. If left long enough, one may notice a difference in performance, which means it's been too long! For the price, keep your filters up to date. They're one of the less expensive items that can be put into a vehicle.

Not at all. No tools needed — just pop out the old filter and drop in the new one. Most installs take under 5 minutes. Do it yourself and save.
This is an engine air filter designed to help filter the air entering the engine. It does not replace the cabin air filter used for interior ventilation.
Unless specifically stated on the product page, this filter should be replaced rather than washed or reused.
