It's an air filter, has lots of filter fins, fits my 2019 Promaster 2500, what more could you want.I will say the fit on the top end when putting the cap back on was tight. Once I had the screws started, I had to kind of push the rubber inside the channel on the cap (underside in the inner tube area if that makes sense). Once I did that and got it all in the channel, no problem, screwed right down.
