1999-2000 Honda Civic 1.6L L4 | Catalytic Converter | OE#18160P2PA00/16070 - PHILTOPI recently replaced the catalytic converter on my 2009 Subaru Forester with the PHILTOP Catalytic Converter, and I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with the purchase. Installation was straightforward, and I managed to do it myself without too much trouble, which is always a plus in my book.Right after the installation, I noticed a significant improvement in my car's performance. The engine felt smoother, and I didn’t hear any of those annoying exhaust noises that had developed over time. It’s also great to know it’s EPA compliant, so I can feel good about my environmental impact while driving.A few weeks in, there haven't been any issues, and my check engine light remains off, which was my main concern when making the switch. Overall, I think this is a solid choice if you're looking for a replacement catalytic converter for your Subaru. Good quality and a reasonable price—definitely worth considering if you’re in the same boat.

2011-2015 Honda Odyssey 3.5L V6 | Catalytic Converter | OE#18160R70A00/16447 - PHILTOPThis catalytic converter is a budget-friendly replacement option for older Honda CR-V models with the 2.4L engine (2002–2006). It’s designed as a direct-fit unit, and it includes gaskets and hardware, which helps simplify the installation process without needing extra parts or modifications. The construction is pretty standard for this price range. It uses a stainless steel and aluminized pipe setup, which helps resist rust and handle heat over time. Inside, the ceramic core is built to support proper exhaust flow and emissions control. The “high-flow” design aims to reduce backpressure, which can help the engine run smoother if your old converter was clogged or failing.Installation is straightforward if you’re comfortable working on exhaust systems, though like most catalytic converters, professional installation is still the safer route if you want to avoid leaks or fitment issues. One important thing to keep in mind is emissions compliance. This is EPA-compliant, not CARB-compliant, so it’s not legal for use in stricter states like California and Colorado, and there are also limitations in places like New York and Maine depending on the vehicle.Overall, this is a practical replacement if you’re looking for a cost-effective fix and your vehicle qualifies under federal emissions standards. It covers the basics well without getting overly expensive.

2011-2015 Honda Odyssey 3.5L V6 | Catalytic Converter | OE#18160R70A00/16447 - PHILTOPPerfect fit for my 2005 CR-V. Physically, the converter I received was very similar to but not completely identical to the OEM part I replaced. Disassembly was rough, lots of rusted bolts, but the install was quick and efficient. On restarting the car, it took a couple of starts for the computer to realize that things had changed and had adjusted appropriately. After that point, no problems at all. Much cheaper than the OEM.
