These are just as nice if not nicer yhan spacers costing more than twice as much. I tightened them all on by hand and kept wiggling them as I struggled them down. Then I torqued them down. I didn't use the lock tight that came with them I used anti seize so the torque would be accurate. At specified torque they should never come loose anyway. I do intend on checking them after 250 miles then again after 500 miles just because I deviated from the instructions. Then I installed the wheels like I always do tighten all the lugs in a rotating pattern while spinning the wheel so it settles where it is supposed to. These to I use anti seize on and have never had a problem with them.sung them up in a cris cross pattern then torque in a cris cross pattern and they ride really nice I can't even notice a difference except around corners, it feels more stable. I installed these on a 2006 F350 Superduty and am very happy with my purchase.

Used to mount my Slk to a hub dyno. Without spacers wheel bolts were hitting the backing plates locking everything. 10mms was too much, 5mms too little. 8mm was just right.
