There is a great importance with this converter being EPA compliant and its build quality. It does fit as described and is not hard to install when the old parts are removed. The hardest part is dealing with rusted bolts during removal. This is a budget value part and seems to have a decent ceramic catalyst. The heat shields were a little hard to make fit. Had to reshape them a little to get them on. Once on, the muffler worked. I'm 2 1/2 month in with the muffler and engine light has stayed off. I would recommend it.

Functionally the catalytic converter fit and fixed the P0420 code. The flanges on the exhaust were good and lined up perfectly. The only problem here is the heat shield brackets. I was unable to get them all to line up, but was able to use 1 in front and 1 on back and the other tabs now just function as anti rotation tabs. Is it perfect? No, but it works to fix the problem on my car for an affordable price.Had everything been lined up this probably this would have taken under an hour but ended up taking an extra 30-40 min to try to get the heat shield to fit. Had I not had a lift it would have been really frustrating.The quality of the converter is good. Not OEM, but the welds are good and the exhaust flanges are thick and quality to allow for good sealing. The provided seal had to be pressed into the machined ring.Even with the issues, I would purchase this and use over paying significantly more for an OEM one that has zero issue.
