While the proof will ultimately be in the emissions test results, right off the bat this looks very promising. Every weld on this converter is well made, and the metal itself is heavy gauge. Even the heat shield feels very sturdy - nothing flexing or rattling when you pick it up. The catalyst itself is indeed on a ceramic substrate. The inlet side measures 2.5" on the inside diameter, while the outlet side (with the O2 bung) measures 2.25" on the outside diameter.
