The gasket came bent up, and they appear to be graphite over steel mesh, no big deal. I do like that the catalyst is nicely built and insulated to the wall of the housing so that it doesn't rattle or break. It appears well built and fits well. Using it for many miles will be the only way to tell if they are really good though.

The converter seems well packed and built. The hardware is okay and I suggest using higher grade hardware. The bolts have 4.8 on them, not sure what that means but I like my grade 8 or 10.9 bolts. The gaskets are good enough for a simple repair and everything fits well.

Install pending but matches up and looks good. Solid part and I’m so glad these ate bolt on! I don’t know why all of these on all vehicles are mot bolt on, I guess maybe just older vehicles are welded or are they just trying to sell you the whole exhaust pipe setup, lol? Well i will update this review once i get time to install it.

I bought this catalytic converter for my ’98 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has been a solid purchase. The part arrived well-packaged with all the gaskets and hardware needed, which made the install straightforward. It really was “plug and play” — no welding or drilling needed, just bolted right in.The quality feels good, with a sturdy stainless steel body that looks like it will hold up for the long haul. After installing, I immediately noticed smoother performance and slightly better fuel economy. The exhaust note is clean, and it passed emissions testing here with no issues (outside of the CA/NY/ME restrictions they note).For the price, it’s hard to beat. Shops were quoting me several hundred dollars more, so this was a big savings without sacrificing quality. Time will tell on longevity, but so far I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a replacement converter for an older Cherokee or Grand Cherokee.

The bolts and the gaskets were all there. The bolts are cheap, they twist off\n The flange didn't quite made up very good, but it was other than that with pretty good.
